What the book is about in general.



Tuck Everlasting is about Winnie Foster. She is kidnapped age 10 by the Tucks. The Tucks treated her nice and acted as if Winnie was just a guest. Soon the Tucks tell Winnie that they drank from a spring in a Wood that Winnie's parents owned. That spring was enchanted of some sort and caused them to live forever. Mae Tuck was confused about it Jesse tuck was enjoying the enchantment, Angus tuck hated it, and Miles also does not like it. A man in a Yellow suit saw the Tucks taking Winnie and followed them. he overheard the story about the spring and went back to Winnie's parents. He said he would tell them where Winnie was in exchange for the wood. Winnie's parents agreed and the man in the yellow suit alerted the constable. The man in the yellow suit took the constable to the Tucks' house but the man in the yellow suit went ahead. When the man in the yellow suit got to the Tucks' house the constable was not there yet. He informed the Tucks about his plan to bottle the water and sell it for expensive prices. When Mae Tuck was told about this she was outraged. She then killed the man in the yellow suit by hitting him with the barrel of her gun. Winnie helped Mae Tuck escape jail by taking her place. She was an accomplice. Winnie was thinking about drinking from the spring but did not. She instead lived her life peacefully and died.
